The text dwells оп many interesting and new facts about outstanding and prominent people of Belarus. It tells about many eminent people of different times who contributed greatly to the development of Belarusian and international culture. Some of the names from the text I heard for the first time. For example, the name of the portrait—and still life painter of the 19th century Ivan Khrutsky was unfamiliar to me. But when I learned about him from the text I tried to find out more information about him on the Internet. And I saw the pictures of many of his works, including the most famous "Game, Vegetables and Mushrooms" exhibited in the National Art Museum. We can also learn from the text that many of famous figures of Belarusian origin are also beloved and well-known abroad due to the enormous contribution they made to the world culture.
