3. The architectural project of my school is quite ordinary. It looks like many other schools in my town. I can't say that it has original design. Though inside it is spacious and bright, which I like most.

4. As I live in the center of my native town, I would like to see some monument, depicting what my town looked like during previous centuries. It can be a model of old town or an image of ancient man or woman. I think this idear is not ordinary and such monuments may impress and interest people.

5. The first cultural event that comes to my mind is the International Festival of Arts "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk" is an annual festival held in Vitebsk in summer since 1992. Its main program is devoted to Slavic music. The main participants are artists from Russia, Belarus and Ukraine, with guests from many other countries, both Slavic and non-Slavic. Minsk plays host to the International Firm Festival of the CIS and Baltic States "Listapad". It is held in November. Among other major festivals that were held recently are the following: International Musical Festival "Minsk Spring", International Festival "Slavonic Theatrical Meetings", International Jazz Festival, National Harvesting Festival "Dazhynki"; National Festival "Arts for Children and Youth", 1st National Festival and Competition of Youth Variety Show Arts, 7th National Festival of Chamber Music "Muses of Niesvizh", Festival of Chamber Music "Mir Castle", National Festival of the Belarusian Song and Poetry.

6. Early East Slavs settled the forested hills of today's Minsk by the 9th century. There is no exact historical record for the date when Minsk was founded. It was first mentioned (as Mensk) in the Primary Chronicle in 1067. That year the chronicle recorded a bloody battle between troops of Polatsk and Kiev princes on the banks of Niamiha river.

7. I believe that ancient buildings are historical heritage of our country. They shouldn't be pulled down. Instead they should be protected by the state and, if necessary, reconstructed.

8. There is a legend connected to Nesvizh Castle. It is a legend about Barbara Radzivill, whose ghost inhabits the castle now. According to a legend Barbara secretly married Sigizmund Radzivill. In those times marriages were based not on love but on state political benefits. The news about the marriage of young king shocked everyone, especially his mother Bona Sfortsa. And she decided to poison Barbara. She was burred in Krakow.
